My Two Fathers
 

 You are my dad down on this earth.
 The one who gave me my earthly birth.
 Yet there is one that reigns above
 My Father who wooed me by His love.

 
 You put the clothes upon my back
 And food to nourish me even snack.
 The Father above made a way for me
 To live with Him in eternity.
 

 
 The lessons of life you helped me learn
 Often times I gave you much concern.
 My heavenly Father taught me how to live,
 To love the world and His love give.
 
 
 So on this day I honor you here on earth
 As my father who gave me my natural birth.
 Then one day in heaven we will be,
 Living with God for all eternity.
