Teach Me, Lord!

Oh, teach me, Lord, thy loving ways,
 And let me know the worth
Of serving You for all the days
 You’ll give me on this earth!
 
     Dear Lord, I want to serve You,
 So help me to do my best
    I know I don’t deserve You,
But humbly I suggest

That you mold me, Lord, and make me
 According to Thy Will
And let the Holy Spirit take me
Into that place so still
 

 
Where there in sweet communion,
Within that Holy Place;
I’ll walk with You and talk with You
And look upon Your face!
 
I know my will is weak, dear Lord,
But for Thy peace I’m yearning
And as I ponder o’er Your Word,
Each day I’m slowly learning
 
The beauty of salvation’s choice,
It’s glorious destiny
And clearly now, I hear Your Voice,
“My child, come rest in Me!”
