Ship of Dreams

Rock me gently on the waves

My lonely ship of dreams,

Carry me from these waters

To happier times and seas.

Away from all these storms

That rage deep in my soul,

To an ocean of blue and calm

Where again I can be whole.

Please rock me on the water

Until the pain I feel no more,

And when the seas are smooth

Gently carry me back to shore…
