How Santa Fooled Winter

'Twas Christmas Eve at the North Pole,
The toys were packed and ready to go.
But 'Ole Man Winter told Santa, No, No;
The wind was howling and it was fifty below.
Even the fire shivered with cold,
Santa was afraid Rudolph would freeze his red nose.

Yes,  Santa was worried, needless to say,
With no toys, how would the children play?
Then with a hardy, Ho, Ho, Santa loaded his sleigh,
He taught the naughty winter a lesson that day.
His reindeer were happy and ready to start;
All wore nose warmers Santa bought at Wal-Mart!
