A Restful Place

A little stream runs through a garden.
The sound of its merry voice,
Making a musical background
To the birds twittering in the trees.
A garden seat placed beside the stream,
Makes a pleasant place to rest
At the end of a busy day.
A place to sit and reflect,
On a day's work well done.
A place to be in the presence of Jesus,
To relax in His peace and love.
