Dear Lord, save a place for
Grandma
when it's her time to go. She's been a
loving person
and a kind and gentle soul. She
hasn't had it easy here,
she's worked hard all her
life; But I've never heard Grandma complain,
through all her toil and strife.
I'm sure
you'll recognize her
when you see her at your
gate; She has a little trouble, Lord,
standing
up real straight. Her hair once black, now
silver;
lines etched upon her face, Now tell
her whole life story
of unselfishness and
grace.

So save a place for
Grandma, Lord,
she doesn't need much room.
I
see her growing tired and weak
and I know
she'll be there soon.
And although it's hard
to give her up
because we love her so;
Knowing
she's in Heaven, Lord,
will help ease the
sorrow.
So save a place for Grandma, Lord,
cause she deserves the best.
Give her a
fluffy snow white cloud,
to lay her head and
rest.
Cover her with a soft blue blanket
made from the sky above
And cradle her in Your
arms
with Your undying love.
