AS WE MEET THE FOE

America's forces are being called,
"Stand ready to meet the foe," they're told.
We know not when the day will come,
To avenge the horror that has been done.

These forces, of young women and men,
Will make us proud as we've ever been.
They are husbands, fathers, daughters, and sons,
Proudly serving together as one.
 

 
They are trained to do the job at hand,
Be it by air, or sea, or on the land.
No matter where they are sent to fight,
The world will see America's might.

For under God, as a nation we stand,
Returning freedom to our land.
And God will guide us to the foe,
Destroying evil, as we go.
 

 
For against God, Satan will fall,
And all the terrorists at his call.
The mighty forces of the U.S.A.
Under God, will wipe them away.

And so, the world prays tonight,
For our brave troops, as they are called to fight.
No matter when the hour might be,
They will serve America, land of the free.
 

 
Freedom does not come without cost,
Thousands of lives have been lost.
We have prevailed throughout the years,
Through blood, sweat, and many tears.

Our mighty forces await the call,
So pray for them, one and all.
God and America will stand the test,
And the world will see America's best.
