Keepers Of Our Country

By raising flags, we all unite
Behind our U.S. Forces
We will show you our support
With unlimited resources

You give true meaning to the words
Of "DUTY", "HONOR" and "PRIDE"
This we see within your eyes
As off to war you now stride

God bless and keep you safe from harm
You're special, don't you see!
We're proud of who and what you are
As you keep our country free!

I know it's hard to leave behind
Your families, as they cried
It takes a special person though
To bring the strength from deep inside

Yellow ribbons around the trees
Are tied tight to let you know
That while you are so far away
Lighted candles. . . in windows glow

God will forever be with you
Just whisper out His name
He's listening to your very soul
So peace within you will remain
