Judgment
A
child’s innocence,
No longer there,
Instead replaced,
Not hope but fear.
Where
burdens once,
Were dull and far between,
A child realizes,
The troubles seen.

So next time
you see,
A child so sweet,
Don’t look at their clothes,
Nor down at their feet.
Just open your arms wide,
And let them into your heart,
They need a friend to confide in,
And that’s just the start.

Do not judge
a child,
Or an adult at that,
By the shoes that they wear,
Or the clothes on their back.
Do not judge
mankind,
By the things that they own,
But a heart made of gold,
Or a heart made of stone.
