The Greatest Sheepfold

I'm just a little lamb of God,
I have no wealth or fame.
But Jesus is my Shepherd,
and He always calls my name.

The word of God is my pasture,
And the waters to drink are so still;
my Shepherd's rod and staff protect me,
and I never have anything to fear.

At night we have the moon and stars,
but I am not afraid.
My Shepherd shines so brightly,
He always lights my way.

And in the storms He walks with me,
and if I slip and fall,
He picks me up so gently,
and He anoints my wounds with oil.

Jesus, my Shepherd has told me,
that if I listen to His voice,
One day He wants to take me up in the sky,
just like a fleecy white cloud
to the greatest sheepfold ever!

My Shepherd, Jesus,
wants to take me to His home.
And it's up in Heaven,
far, far away.
