Memories of another place in time...
Emerge from a purple mist...
As if in a dream.
Tiny fairies of half forgotten emotions
hover...
just out of reach...
Tempting a heart numbed by pain
to reach for them...
To once more feel the fluttering softness
against a soul that is bruised beyond repair.
Memories of you that will always be there.

Butterflies of light broadcasting a brightness
that blinds my heart to the reason.
Revelations of a happiness
known only by one so blinded.

A love born of innocence...
Happiness born of a love
That will never be again...
And yet...
The fairies will always be there.
